A lifelong observer of human behavior, healer and coach Sarahjean Lizotte has been studying why we act the way we do since she was a curious nine-year-old. Her childhood journal was filled with notes about the relationships she observed, paying close attention to how those around her related to and communicated with one another.
Some of Sarahjean’s theories were simply the product of organic childhood curiosity; but her passion for the intricacies of human behavior continued into young adulthood, and this aware and curious young woman began to use the concepts she developed as lenses, focusing them onto her own relationships, and continuing to ask questions.
She immersed herself in extensive international travel and situations that made her work for the answers. During this time, Sarahjean completed her pre-med Bachelors of Science from the University of Connecticut along with her Masters from The New England School of Acupuncture.
She completed her education as part of her curiosity surrounding the human body, the elements of mindfulness, and how human communication is the bridge from our covered ego to our wisdom.
A single mother with two curious children, Sarahjean never stopped writing as she grew her family and nursed her late husband through four tragic years of suffering from ALS. Both Sarahjean and her children were put to the challenge of meeting his needs with grace. The lessons that all three of them learned during this time will last their lifetime. Today, these combined experiences are what has put Sarahjean in front of you.
A clinically trained, Licensed Acupuncturist and Accountability Coach, Sarahjean has been working with patients in private practice for over 20 years. She has established dozens of mutual relationships with both Eastern and Western Practitioners, Inventors, Scientists and Healers that has allowed for a collaborative level of healing for her clients and the Practitioners as well.
Sarahjean currently has multiple platforms designed to support transitions, circumstances, and communication for her clients. Her private Acupuncture clinic located in the historic district of Groton, Massachusetts provides a serene and supportive environment for healing through traditional Chinese medicine, nutritional coaching, and life empowerment for women.
She also offers private and group Accountability Coaching sessions structured to discover ones true, authentic goals while being held accountable. Through structure and accountability, transformation is possible in all areas of life. Sarahjean is currently developing online course materials to guide clients through life’s transitions and transformation, with an anticipated launch in early 2023.
This life is one I intend to live to its fullest.
I would love to help guide you along in pursuit of the same.
Brandon’s story in wellness began at a very young age. Born into a uniquely progressive family for the time (1981), he was raised within a community where acupuncture, chiropractic, chi-gong, and many other practices were considered the norm, and their primary food source was from the farms and livestock the community maintained.
Brandon’s diet during his pre-teen years was largely macrobiotic. As he moved through his teenage years, his family parted ways with the community, and processed foods began to find their way into his diet, ultimately proving detrimental to his health.
By his early twenties, Brandon had fully adopted a typical American diet and had accepted stomach discomfort as normal. By his late twenties he began having digestive issues that restricted his daily activity.
With support from his family, Brandon began to question the foods he had chosen to fuel his body with and began experimenting with his foods. Through trial and error, he discovered that he was extremely gluten sensitive and also had sensitivity to various other food items. By taking the time to go through this process, he successfully eliminated the constant discomfort he had learned to accommodate in his every day life. Life became more enjoyable and livable again.
Life throws you curveballs all along the way of course. During all of this, he ran a successful remodeling company with his former wife. The rigors of running a company, having two children, and having all other aspects of life took their toll on his marriage and he found himself moving through a difficult divorce, having to discover himself all over again.
He fell in love with an acupuncturist during this new chapter of his life which sparked many conversations of where he had been and where he wanted to go. He found himself drawn back to his roots and discovered a passion for helping guide others along their journeys through this life and to help make healthy and supportive choices to lead more fulfilling lives in all areas of living.
We have been told from such a young age how we ‘should’ act, how we are ‘supposed’ to be behave. We try to fit ourselves into a mold that is perceived as effortless and perfect in all aspects of life. We go to college, marry, have children, get promotions at work and as the titles grow so do the responsibilities and pressure to juggle it all. We are praised for doing more, more, more and thinking and rationalizing our way through life. At some point it all becomes suffocating. We become so disconnected from who we are, we lose touch with our bodies, feel overwhelmed, numb, and unsatisfied with life.
WHERE YOU WANT TO BE
I work with women who are seeking and excited to reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and authentic selves. Women who intrinsically know there is more to life and that they are not in alignment with their life purpose. Through mediations, movement practices and somatic work we find what resonates with you on a soul supporting level. Once your nervous system can release the stress we carry daily, we open space to start reconnecting with our bodies sacred knowledge which leads us to our dharma (soul’s purpose) discovery.
WHY YOU WANT TO BE THERE
This work restores your feminine energy to balance with your masculine. It will give you a renewed sense of energy, patience, appreciation for life and most importantly fulfillment. You will create more ease and flow in your life and daily life will stop seeming so hard!
WHY WORK WITH ME
I AM you! I’ve been in your shoe’s goddess, and it doesn’t feel good. I can empathize with all the limiting beliefs, frustration and anxiety that floods our systems when we don’t have words for our feelings and desires. I started feeling the pull towards something greater when I was in 5th grade but had no way to express or recognize what I was longing for. I embarked on worldwide travel to ‘find’ my connection and my people but never gained resolution. Eventually I fell into the ‘normal’ routine of life. After my first child was born, I hit a low. Everything in my life appeared wonderful, but I was deeply unfulfilled. Through doing my own work and healing and becoming a lifelong student in this field, I have found the inner peace and direction I was craving for 40 years. I’m here to see you, listen to you and be a mirror for your highest self. And I have some exciting news, it can all change today!
